Artscape 2009!! The Complete Weekend!

In my opinion, 2009 was the most
unique artscape yet. I set out Friday morning with my camera in an
attempt to capture the full feel of the event.
Thursday night, July 16th, the set up was well under
way.
10am on day one I rode my bike to North Ave. Rode by my favorite new bookstore, Cyclops Books, to see the Natty Paint Clothing stand up and running.

Rode down Charles Street to the Parking Garage across from the Charles Theater. The entrance turned into an indoor park.

Inside, Hostelling International had an onsite hostel exhibit set up to tour.

Next to that, the Baltimore Freestore was setup inside. With free stuff for everyone, or games you could play to win...free stuff!

And then of course, free lemonade.

Thanks Marian!

Later that day, in the middle of allll that cafuffle, The B'more Dance Project busted out with an improv dance session with music by Andy Abelow.

Moving on down across the bridge toward Mt. Royal, I walked through a pop up shanty town of amusement.

And at the edge of it all, Human Foosball!

Trekking further, I came across the art cars of course. This one was created by the Rebel Alliance.

Pushing through the crowds

I then popped into the VIP Artscape party, where I consumed many crab cakes.

The End.
